Intel Arc GPU Index
A sourced specification index of every cataloged Intel Arc variant, spanning generations, memory configurations, and power classes.
A new vendor enters the discrete timeline
Intel Arc is historically interesting because it records the expansion of a long-established integrated-graphics vendor into a named modern discrete family. Arc is broader than one desktop launch: the source can include multiple generations, mobile and desktop targets, and configurations whose similar names conceal different resources or memory. A single index makes that breadth visible without pretending the family is one homogeneous product.
The catalog places 23 variants Arc variants in the matching source sections, spanning 2022 through 2026. The unit is GPU variants. Intel contributes 23 variants, while Nvidia contributes 0 variants and AMD 0 variants to this vendor-specific result. Board-partner retail permutations are not counted independently unless they exist at the catalog’s source grain. Every total and year endpoint is computed from loaded rows during prerender.
Why the variants matter
Arc products illustrate why specifications must stay multidimensional. Memory capacity and type describe storage near the processor, FP32 GFLOPS describes a theoretical arithmetic ceiling, and TDP places a design in a power class. Process node and transistor count add manufacturing context. Driver maturity and application behavior, especially across graphics APIs and media workloads, cannot be inferred from those columns. The table is consequently an inventory rather than a performance ranking.
Keeping variants separate also exposes product segmentation across system types. A mobile target has constraints unlike a desktop add-in card, even when branding encourages comparison. Different enabled resources, clocks, or memory layouts can change the balance within the family. The index lets readers see those published choices and their launch sequence while resisting unsupported conclusions about present value or benchmark speed. Missing catalog facts render as missing; they are not borrowed from a nearby name. Membership comes from the source section path, and the provenance row records the Wikipedia revision, making both the set and its limitations reproducible after the catalog evolves.
